Spring Valley is an unincorporated community of approximately 31,000 residents spread across the rolling hills and valleys southeast of La Mesa and south of El Cajon. The community stretches from the base of Mount Helix in the north to the Sweetwater Reservoir corridor in the south, with Bancroft Drive serving as its commercial spine and SR-94 and SR-125 providing freeway access to the rest of San Diego County.
RJ Towing dispatches to Spring Valley from our base at 2881 G St in San Diego, approximately 10-12 miles to the east and south. Our primary route takes SR-94 east through Lemon Grove and into Spring Valley, or I-8 East to SR-125 South, depending on which part of Spring Valley you are in. The northern neighborhoods near Mount Helix are best reached via I-8 and SR-125. The central and southern areas along Bancroft Drive and the Sweetwater corridor are fastest via SR-94. Under normal traffic conditions, we reach any location in Spring Valley within 18-25 minutes.
Spring Valley's terrain is hilly and varied. The community sits at elevations ranging from roughly 400 feet near the Sweetwater River to over 1,300 feet at the summit of Mount Helix. Residential streets wind through canyons and up hillsides, and some of the steeper grades above Bancroft Drive rival anything in La Mesa or the coastal hills. This topography creates vehicle stress, brake wear, transmission strain, and overheating on summer days when inland temperatures climb above 95 degrees.
We have been serving Spring Valley for over 15 years. Our drivers know the residential loops, the dead-end streets that surprise unfamiliar operators, and the fastest routes from the freeways to the hillside neighborhoods where GPS sometimes sends trucks the wrong way. When you call RJ Towing in Spring Valley, you get someone who knows where you are.
