This is the single most common call we get from PB. Someone heads out for the evening, parks on Garnet or a side street off Garnet, and at 1:30 AM realizes the keys are locked inside the car, or worse, somewhere inside a bar they just left.

PB's beach parking lots along Mission Boulevard and Ocean Boulevard fill early on summer mornings. Cars sit in the sun for 6-10 hours. Interior lights left on, phone chargers draining the battery, or simply an old battery that the heat finished off, by the time you get back from the beach, the engine will not turn over.

Our jumpstart service gets you running in minutes. If the battery is too far gone for a jump, we can tow you to an auto parts store or mechanic.

PB has some of the tightest street parking in San Diego. The narrow residential streets between Garnet and the bay, Chalcedony, Beryl, Diamond, are lined with parked cars on both sides, leaving barely enough room for one vehicle to pass through. Sideswipe damage is common.

If you have ever driven a car onto the sand access areas near Mission Beach or parked on unpaved shoulders near the bay, you know that beach sand gets everywhere. Sand in brake rotors causes grinding and premature wear. Sand packed into wheel wells adds weight and can interfere with steering components. Salt air accelerates corrosion on undercarriages, brake lines, and electrical connections.

Mission Boulevard between Pacific Beach Drive and the southern tip of Mission Beach is heavily trafficked by both cars and cyclists. Debris, broken glass, metal fragments, construction nails from the constant renovation of beach-area properties, collects along curb lines. Flat tires from road debris are frequent.
