• Insurance information when the tow is covered by a carrier
• Partner portal users: business name, billing address, team member contacts, and tow history
• Website visitors: standard server logs (IP, user agent, pages visited) and, if you consent, basic analytics

How We Use Your Information

• To dispatch the right truck to the right location
• To communicate about your tow (arrival time, price, route)
• To process payment and provide receipts
• To direct-bill your insurance carrier if your tow is covered
• To comply with California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) towing regulations
• To improve dispatch speed and operational quality (aggregate analytics only)

What We Don't Do

• We don't sell your personal information to third parties.
• We don't share your information with marketing companies, data brokers, or analytics firms beyond the minimum needed to run the website.
• We don't target ads to you based on your tow history.

Who We Share With

• Payment processors (Stripe and similar), only the data needed to complete the transaction
• Your insurance carrier, when your policy covers the tow and you've authorized direct billing
• Law enforcement, when legally compelled (e.g., court order, subpoena, or California CPUC inquiry)
• Body shops, dealerships, or repair facilities you specifically direct us to deliver your vehicle to

California residents have the right to:

• Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell, but you can confirm this in writing)
• Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights

• Tow request records: 7 years (required under California commercial record-keeping rules)
• Payment records: 7 years (tax compliance)
• Website analytics: 12 months, anonymized after 30 days
• Partner portal data: retained while account is active + 7 years after termination

Children's Privacy

RJ Towing does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If a minor is involved in a tow (e.g., a teen driver), we collect only what's necessary to coordinate with the parent or legal guardian.
