About These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of RJ Towing Service LLC(“RJ Towing,” “we,” “us”) services, including towing, roadside assistance, and the partner portal. By calling (619) 872-5285 to request service or by registering for the partner portal, you agree to these terms.

Service Pricing

We quote a price beforedispatch. The price covers the services agreed to at the time of quote. If the job in-field turns out to require additional services (for example, a winch-out that wasn't initially apparent, or a longer distance than originally stated), we will communicate the updated price before performing the additional work.

Cancellation

• Free to cancel before the truck is en route
• Once the truck is en route and within 5 minutes of your location, a dispatch fee may apply (we'll confirm when you call)
• Once the vehicle is loaded, the full quoted price is due

Payment

Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and direct-billing to participating insurance carriers. Partner portal accounts have Net-30 invoiced billing per signed partner agreement.

Liability

RJ Towing carries full commercial automotive liability and cargo coverage as required by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and the Department of Transportation. Our liability for damage caused during loading, transport, or unloading is subject to commercially reasonable standards of care.

• We are not liable for pre-existing damage, mechanical failures that were not caused by our handling, or damage that occurred before or after our custody of the vehicle.
• We strongly recommend photographing your vehicle before and after transport. Our operators do the same for every job.
• Claims must be reported within 48 hours of service delivery and include photographic evidence where possible.

Vehicle Custody

From the moment your vehicle is loaded until it is delivered, RJ Towing has custodial responsibility. You authorize us to transport the vehicle to the destination of your choice. If the destination is closed (e.g., a body shop after hours), we will follow agreed-upon drop procedures or hold the vehicle until the destination opens, storage fees may apply as disclosed when you call.

Cross-Border Service

For towing between San Diego and Tijuana (the only such service offered by a San Diego-based towing company):

• You are responsible for ensuring the vehicle has valid title, registration, and (if applicable) legal Mexican importation documentation.
• RJ Towing transports the vehicle on a flatbed; the vehicle is not “driven” across the border by our operators.
• Customs delays, port-of-entry closures, and Mexican regulatory changes are beyond our control.

Partner Portal

• Partner accounts are for approved business customers (body shops, mechanics, dealerships, insurance adjusters, fleets).
• Partners must maintain accurate billing information and settle invoices per the terms of their partner agreement.
• Misuse of the portal (sharing credentials, submitting requests outside of service scope) may result in account suspension.
• Partner data is subject to the Privacy Policy.

Website Use

• The website is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted availability.
• Content is for informational purposes. For an exact quote or dispatch, call (619) 872-5285.
• Scraping, automated harvesting, or using the site to impersonate RJ Towing is prohibited.

Governing Law + Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be resolved first by good-faith conversation (call Robert at (619) 872-5285), then by mediation in San Diego County, and only then by binding arbitration or court action in San Diego County.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date. Partner portal users will receive email notice for substantive changes.
